Susan Kay Kiles' Obituary
Susan Kay Kiles, age 69, passed away November 13, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born in the wake of Christmas on December 26, 1949 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Irene Walker Kiles and Kermit Kiles. Susan entered this world with a fiercely strong spirit and gifted mind. At the age of sixteen she entered Oklahoma University and earned her Bachelor's degree in history. While there, she would become a lifelong fan of OU football, even naming her last dog Sooner in tribute. Susan was a jack of all trades and pursued many endeavors over the years while acquiring a life of skills and stories. She was a champion of social causes affecting any population with a voice less heard, and was never timid to speak her mind. Susan's main passion in life was astrology, and after fifty years of practice, she had gained an encyclopedic knowledge of the subject. She also loved travel, having new experiences, and meeting new people. She lived in multiple states and took road trips through most of the ones she didn't. Susan will be remembered as a woman of wit who always left a memorable impression with those she met, and she will be missed dearly.
Survived by her siblings: Rosemary and Becky, and her daughter: Rachel.
