I just found out about his death, I never knew him, nor talked to him, but I learned more about alpine belaying systems from him than anywhere else, as an arborist now I 've learned many techniques from him that ive still never seen posted anywhere for hauling techniques and rigging. for that im greatful, rip. you've been extremely impactful in my life and I know you have created a safe environment for people to learn about climbing for many other people who didnt have the chance to meet you or work with you. Your legacy is a literal gold mine.
