My deepest sympathies to the Jorgensen family. I have many wonderful memories of Aunt Bonnie. One of them I would like to share. During Pioneer Days weekend in 1993, I took my mother, Betty, to SLC to visit her mother, Eleanor (my grandmother ). Mom was in the middle of her battle with dementia; so this was a very bittersweet trip as this ended up being the last time mother and daughter would see each other. The visit was turning pretty melancholy when out-the-blue Aunt Bonnie showed up; bringing her bubbly personality and her dry sense of humor. The sad reunion was instantly turned into time of joyful remembrances. I was so grateful for Aunt Bonnie's company and that I was able to spend a few days with three amazing women of my family.
