I loved getting to know the Schmith family when they lived in Magna. We were Adam’s bear scout leaders. I was excited to have AJ in my 5th grade class shortly after. He may not have been the best behaved student in that class, but his energy and smile was appreciated! I especially remember how he became good friends with a shy, quiet Navajo boy in class.
