William Joseph Lopez's Obituary
Joe Lopez, age 62 passed away unexpectedly on Aug 17, 2022, at the University of Utah. He passed surrounded by his family.
Born April 20, 1960, in Rifle Colorado the son of William J. Lopez and Louise Troyer.
On June 20, 2020, he married the love of his life, Kimberly Lopez. Together their two families were made into one. The rest is history.
Joe had many hobbies that kept him busy. Fishing, cooking, whether it be smoking meat all day or making the best vermicelli on the planet. Going to the ponds with his wife and best companion Max (his dog) was his favorite daily routine. He also enjoyed rolling on the ground with his grandkids and cracking jokes to make the people around him smile. There definitely was never a dull moment with him around.
Joe is survived by his loving wife Kim and children; Troy (Stephanie) Caywood, Steven (Wanda) Ramirez, Tyler Hammond, his mother Louise Troyer, stepmother Pearl Lopez, stepsisters Ailene Amador and Melanie (Kevin) Snyder, stepbrother Tim (Debbie) Billings, mother-in-law Lona Martinez, and his niece Clorice (Josh) Walton.
He will also be missed by his grandchildren, great nieces and nephew, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends that he loved and cherished. Please don't be offended if we missed anyone. We are unsure of how many hearts he has touched along the way.
He is preceded in death by his father William J. Lopez, sister Cynthia Lopez, and niece Cyrena Hess.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor a wonderful man, at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Memorial of Joe Lopez at First Bank of Wyoming or any Division of Glacier Bank.
