William "Bill" Lewis Ewing's Obituary
William Lewis Ewing, age 54, passed away on March 24, 2018 at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California following a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 25, 1963 in Alabama to David Lewis Ewing and Dorothy L. Chapman Espinoza.
Bill grew up tall in Woods Cross, Utah with his parents and his siblings, Tom and Melanie. He could plant, build or draw anything he set his mind to do. He loved sports and everything related to football and baseball. He earned his keep being an Advertising Art Director in Los Angeles. Bill was and is deeply loved by his wife Elaine (aka Nikki) who will miss him daily.
Bill is survived by his wife, Elaine of Los Angeles, CA; his mother, Dorothy (Tommy) Espinoza of Layton, UT; his father David Ewing of Las Vegas, NV; his brother Tom (Julie)Ewing of Las Vegas, NV and his sister Melanie (Stuart) Ashcraft of Clearfield, UT. Bill also leaves behind many wonderful neighbors and friends who will continue to enjoy The Poop Deck Hollywood.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Layton Utah West Stake Center 1715 West 1600 North Layton, Utah 84041. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Stake Center at 10:00 AM with viewing one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in the Ogden City Cemetery (for GPS address of Ogden City Cemetery use: 700 E 20th Street Ogden, UT 84401.)
