Tyler Jonas Myers' Obituary
Tyler Jonas Myers, age 14, passed away on February 25, 2018 at his home. He was born on August 10, 2003 in Orem, Utah to Tamara Lee Blake and Andrew Thomas Myers.
Tyler was an amazing kid so intelligent and smart with such a great memory that he was able to pick up on so many things very easily. He attended Escalante Elementary School, Northwest middle School, Pacific Heritage Academy and most recently was attending West High School where he was able to excel in Learning including participating in many Honors and Extended Learning Programs and Classes. He spent a lot of time involved in his scouting program at church as well as being involved in many scouting events with his dad and grandpa. He was very close to being able to earn his Eagle Scout Award.
Tyler was always a joy to me around. He loved to laugh, joke around and do things that would make other people laugh. He played incredible pieces of music on the piano. He had them all memorized and wrote many amazing songs of his own. It was a sight to be seen to see his hands going up and down all over the piano keys. He was so creative. He was great with computers and programing and loved to spend time creating his own video games. His imagination would be in full force as he would invent games and activities to play with his family. He liked to write Skits with his dad and put them together with his family. He had many voices, faces and characters he would use to make people laugh. It was hard to match his quick wit and ability to come up with funny ideas. He was very fun to talk to. He would always listen and enjoy others ideas, and was great at telling funny stories and ideas of his own. He worked and projects often with his dad and siblings and always had so many things he wanted to do and accomplish. He was so fun. He loved to tease and be teased. He always seemed to enjoy the time he spent with his family.
Tyler was survived by his parents Tami and Andrew Myers and his 6 siblings: Jordan, Jared, Misty, Violet, Ethan and Heidi.
A funeral service will be held on Satruday, March 3rd, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1470 North Morton Drive, Salt Lake city, Utah 84116. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services with interment to follow at Elysian Burial Gardens.
