Stuart James Morris' Obituary
Stuart James Morris, age 27, passed away on May 19, 2018. He was born on December 7, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Karen Schiffman.
Stuart was a sweet and special spirit that was eager to be here, he came into this world two months early weighing only three pounds. He was a very happy baby and a very happy child. He and his Grandpa Schiffman were very close. He learned hard work ethics from his Grandpa. Stuart began working at a young age, starting at age 12 he had a newspaper route, he had to be up at 4:30 AM and would still make it to school. One of his first jobs was working as a dishwasher at Little Italy where he met one of his best friends, Garrett, from there he met another best friend, Will Severance. These three boys had so much fun and so many good times together, oh the stories that could be told. Stuart was very loyal to his friends and would do anything for them. He enjoyed times in Las Vegas and California.
Stuart had a real sense of humor, he and his Dad would tease his Mom, all they had to do was look at each other and both would start laughing.
Throughout Stuart's illness he never complained, he never asked why me? I know there were times he broke down but he did so in privacy, he never wanted to worry his parents. Stuart had a service dog, Korndog, that was by his side, this dog protected Stuart from the nurses. Sadly Korndog passed away from diabetes. His parents then got Buddy for him and Buddy became Stuarts protector, he would lay by Stuart for hours.
As early as Stuart came into this world, he left us far too soon.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, DeMarr and Pat Schiffman and John and Kathleen Hewerdine.
He is survived by his parents, Karen Schiffman and Juan (Oggie) Hewerdine along with many friends. God be with you till we meet again.
A celebration of Stuart's life will be held on Saturday June 2, 2018 at 11 AM located at 142 West 200 North Salt Lake City, Utah.
