Steven Courrier's Obituary
Steven Courrier, age 79 Sept 24, 1943- May 26, 2023 Steven was born in Minnesota to his mother Audry and father John. He is the oldest, followed by a sister Mareth and 2 younger brothers Tom and Fred. They moved a lot and settled down in Utah, he joined the air force, where he learned about aircraft's and weather, his obsessions. He studied at Westminster, where he met and fell in love with Susan. Cheered her on as she graduated and became a middle school teacher. They were married Aug 14, 1970, and celebrate 52 years of marriage, to the love of his life and forever. They had their first child Kelly, moved to West Jordan, into a house they built. Then a few years later adopted a sister Amy, who then adopted their only grandchild and only boy, Payton Steven- name sake. Steven worked at the VA hospital tell he retired. Caring for and being around family is what drove him every day. He loved to travel, read, write, and everything airplanes. Steven was very cared for and will be missed greatly. He predeceased in death by his parents, and in-laws. The memory of him will not be forgotten by his siblings, spouse, children, grandchild, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Steven led a rich and full life, those who knew him, were blessed. He took his final breathe in the hospital on Friday May 26". We thank the nurses, doctors, and surgeons that made his final days easier on his family. No services will be held, per Steven's wishes.
