Scotty F. Petersen's Obituary
Scotty F. Petersen, age 47, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 23rd 2019 at 6:14 p.m. in West Valley City, Utah.
He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on Thursday, October 7th 1971 to Cliff and Mickie Petersen, he was the middle of three children.
Scotty was always such a kind, generous, loving person, who would shock us all with his profound choice of words and quick wit.
He was a hard worker who could pick up any trade with ease. He loved welding and had a very special gift for it.
He was always the life of the party wherever he was, he could make everyone laugh with his corny jokes, crazy ideas, and unique views on life. He was truly one of a kind.
You could always count on him to lend a helping hand on your car or find something special for you at the thrift store, no matter how ridiculous it may be.
He loved rock n roll music, skeletons, Kowloon café, and keeping his poofy blonde rocker hair no matter what.
There will be a spooky celebration held on Sunday July 28th, from 4-6 p.m. at the Clover Creek apartments in the clubhouse
530 Murray BLVD Murray, Utah 84123
He is survived by his father Clifford Petersen, his sweetheart Debbie Carter, his pride and joy Sierra (Petersen) Price/Alex Price,
Grandchildren Azlyn Kami Price and Waylon Freedom Price.
Brother Jody Petersen/Lisa Petersen,
Sister Holly (Petersen) Butler/Scott Butler
He is preceded in death by his mother Mickie (Madill) Petersen,
and his wife Kami (Logan) Petersen
Special thanks to his sweet cousin Tony and his wife Tammy for never leaving Scotty's side during his final days.
His nurses Cheri, Michael, and Lauralei at the Jordan Valley west campus for making sure Scotty was comfortable, happy, and calm during his final moments with us.
Dad, I know in life your journey was not the best. But to me you were greater than all the rest.
Hearing you laugh and seeing your smile, always made our time between visits much more worth while.
I will miss your jokes, hugs, and love more than you'll ever know.
But my time will come too, and it will be my turn to go.
We may be separated by death but forever connected by love.
Please watch over me and my children from the clouds up above.
I love you, I hope you rest peacefully.
Love, your pride and joy Sierra.
