Roger "Scott" Howell's Obituary
Roger "Scott" Howell, age 52, passed away on January 14, 2020 at 10:45 AM, in Taylorsville, Utah due to natural causes. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 26, 1967 to Donna Shephard and Ralph "Roger" Howell.
Scott was a truck driver for Swift Transportation from November 2009 to August 2017, then he drove for PRIDE from September 2017 to January 2018. He suffered with health problems for years. He rode motocross as a child and teenager, he also rode bulls. He graduated from high school and went to college. He collected miniature semi-trucks and different movies as hobbies.
He is survived by Tonissa Lynn Hill (common law wife), Ralph Roger Howell (father), Scott Terry Howell (son), Skyler Scott Howell (son), Shelly Ann Sorensen (adopted daughter), Evalynne Larae Sorensen-Black (granddaughter), Larry Barnette (uncle), Jon Paul Norris (brother), Kristy Lynn Norris (sister), Carma Rae Hill (sister-in-law), Lori Norris (sister-in-law), Tiana Jean Hill (sister-in-law), Mishayne Marie Farnsworth-Juan (sister-in-law), Tasha Norris (neice), Sadie Norris (neice), Kelsey Lynn Campbell (step-daughter) and Isaiah Jose Hill (step-son). He was preceded in death by Donna Shepard (mother) and numerous other family members.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
