Philbert John Lettig's Obituary
Phil Lettig, born March 5, 1935 in Alamosa, CO to Theresa Sanchez and John Lettig, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on January 3, 2021 at Jordan Valley Hospital in the presence of his wife and Children. Phil was an enthusiast of Football, and loved to cheer for his favorite team, the Denver Broncos. Aside from sports he had a passion for trucks, he owned a vintage blue Mazda pick up truck, and had models of many others throughout his house. He was talented musically, and would frequently play his guitar and sing old country western songs by Marty Robbins, Meryl Haggard, Johnny Cash and Charlie Pride to his family when they would gather together. Phil was dedicated to providing for his family, and did so by owning his own business of window washing. Many of the vintage buildings windows throughout Salt Lake City were at one point cleaned by Phil. He was successful, and worked very hard in his business for over 60 years. Phil is preceded by his son Jimmy and is survived by his loving wife Mary Lettig, whom he married on March 4, 1963 and his children Frederick, Ricky, Cindy, Debbie, Andy, Elizabeth, Phyllis, John, Jackie, Joseph and Paul. He also will be loved and missed by his 22 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grand Children and 2 Great Great Grand Children.
