Norman Erik Farr's Obituary
Norman ‘Erik’ Farr
1950 – 2018
An honorable, kind, loving and sweet man left us on August 17, 2018.
Erik was born on September 23, 1950 in Stockton, CA to parents Willard B Farr (Vanna) and Gwen Stenquist (Don). He was their third child and was followed by three more.
His given name was Norman Bruce Farr, but he chose his own name of Erik back in the late 1970s – reflecting his Scandinavian heritage.
He served a mission from 1971-73 in the Venezuela-Colombia mission.
He graduated from the University of Utah. He ended his working career by being self-employed.
He married Kirsten Pedersen on September 1, 1979 in Pine Valley, UT.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his brothers Lorin and Alan.
He is survived by his wife, son Kain, daughter-in-law Rebecca, his grandchildren Isolde-Siri and Sullivan.
Also survived by brothers Keith (Janet) and Sterling (Rachelle), his sister Dina (Roger), many nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, and friends.
Erik’s wish was to be cremated and have his ashes spread at his favorite place.
There will be no services at this time.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
