Mark Duran's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Duran, who left us on November 18, 2025 at the age of 53. He was born on April 7th, 1972 in Salt Lake City, UT to Judy Harryman and Max Duran. Mark was a devoted and a beloved member of the community, whose life was marked by unwavering dedication to improving the lives of adults with disabilities.
For over 25 years, Mark worked to support and empower individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. Through his work, Mark was able to help countless individuals build the skills, confidence, and independence they needed to live fulfilling lives.
Mark was not only a colleague but a mentor, advocate, and friend to many in the field. He had such a huge heart and touched lives that had significant impact on all of those that got to call him a friend.
Mark is survived by his brother, Max Jr., and his sisters, Debra and Denise. He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Judy Duran.
Mark leaves behind a legacy of kindness, inclusivity, and dedication.
