Manuel Herrera, 38, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on December 1, 2023. He was born on November 26, 1985, in El Paso, Texas. Manny, as he was affectionately known, was a loving husband to Aubrey and a devoted father to his children Alexa, Chloe, Brian, and Isaac. He also embraced his role as a stepfather to Dominic, Dalainee, and Alyssa. Manny was a cherished brother to Betty, Erika, Iliana, Josie, and Alberto.
Manny's zest for life was evident in everything he did. He found immense joy in spending time with his family and friends, and his infectious laughter filled every room he entered. Known as the life of the party at family gatherings, Manny had a gift for making others laugh and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His unwavering determination and resilience were admired by all who knew him. Once Manny set his mind to something, there was no stopping him. He was a true fighter and go-getter, proving that there was nothing he couldn't accomplish.
A ceremony to celebrate Manny's life will be held on December 15, 2023, at Vida Nueva Church, located at 3007 S. West Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. The viewing will take place from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a ceremony from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A burial ceremony will then be held from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at 200 "N" Street, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Manny will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of his loved ones.
