Lester Earl Titus, age 69, passed away on 10/07/2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on 06/07/1950 in Oakland, California to Emily Titus (Watson) and Aaron Titus.
Lester was the youngest of three brothers and has one younger sister. He was the first graduating class from Mission San Jose High School in 1968 in Fremont, California. He then went on to Southern Oregon College in Ashland, Oregon. He joined the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints. He went on a mission for the Church to Columbia for two years and came back speaking Spanish fluently. He then moved to Utah and graduated from Brigham Young University. He fell in love with the beauty of Utah and made many lifelong friends. He decided to make that his home where he has lived for the last 47 years. He has always been very good about coming back to California to visit friends and family, and keeping in touch. Lester and I (Katherine, his sister) have been in close contact while we work on our family tree. He leaves behind friends and family in California, Utah and Colombia. He had many interests from surfing, snow skiing, hiking, dancing and politics. He was loved by many and will be missed.
