I admired Kathy’s great courage and her grace in the face of adversity.

As an old high school friend from Chicago's south side, I remember Kathy as very bright, funny, sweet and always open to new ideas. As a group of close friends, Kathy offered us--a bunch of Jewish girls--a Catholic take on things and loved learning about our customs. Oh, my goodness, we laughed a lot, mostly over silly teeny bopper things. We didn't keep in touch regularly, but for high school renunions and such, but we always loved sharing time when she came to town for these gatherings. My deep condolences to her family.

Kathy you were a true example that life is precious. You may have been limited physically but your strong “ go get ‘em” attitude kept you going.
We shared many exercise classes together.You gave each movement your all.
