Joseph Graham's Obituary
JOSEPH RAY GRAHAM
Born March 1, 1959. Died April 30, 2021
A kind and gentle soul has been called to join his Heavenly Father.
Joe was born in Salt Lake City to Vern Ray Graham and Ann Marie (Rigby) (Graham) Wells.
His father was a civilian employee at Hill Air Force Base. His mother was a Registered Nurse. They divorced and Ann later married Robert “Bob” Laurence Wells.
Joe spent most of his life in Utah. He attended a culinary school in Indiana and then spent a short time in Denver working at that occupation. He returned to Utah and worked a series of jobs through his life. At the time of his death, he was working for a company that provided training and software solutions to business and government. He lived the majority of his teen and adult life in the Cottonwood Heights area.
He was a devoted member of the LDS church, known and appreciated by his Ward members at Butler 8th Ward. His neighborhood was close knit where people helped one another. He was blessed and fortunate to have these loving and supportive relationships in addition to those in his Ward.
Joe is preceded in death by his father, Vern, stepfather Bob, mother Ann and all of his maternal aunts and uncles. He is survived by cousins who are scattered throughout the country. Among those are John Garavaglia, Colorado and Ed Garavaglia, New Mexico.
He will be interred with his mother and stepfather at Memory Mountain View Cemetery, 3115 Bengal Blvd., Cottonwood Heights, UT May 19, 2021.
