John Todd Hernandez's Obituary
John Todd Hernandez, 64, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Todd was born on May 20, 1960, in Brush, Colorado, to the late John and Donna Hernandez. He was the second oldest of six children.
Todd had many passions, including crafting, cars, and spending time with his daughters, grandchildren, family, and friends. He was a loving and caring person, a devoted father and friend, always putting others first. Todd demonstrated incredible resilience and perseverance throughout his life. With over 40 years as an electrician, he was affectionately known as Sparky. His work was his passion, and he took great joy in it.
Todd will leave a lasting impression on all who knew and loved him.
Todd’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to The INN Between, where Todd spent his last months. Their support with physical rehabilitation and life organization was invaluable.
Todd is survived by his children: Erin (Charly), Krystal, and Heidi; his grandchildren: Khloe and Adrian; his siblings: Robin, Kelly, Chris, Tracy, and Scott; and 14 nieces and nephews. He is also fondly remembered by many friends whom he considered family.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, June 18, at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church (4501 W 5215 S, Kearns, UT 84118), beginning with a viewing at 12 p.m., followed by a rosary and mass at 1 p.m. A reception with food will follow immediately after at 6054 Trowbridge Way, Kearns, UT 84118. All black attire is not required.
