Jacob Benjamin Olson's Obituary
Jacob Benjamin Olson passed away on May 12, 2018. April 27, 1988 was a very important day in history, our beautiful Jacob was born in Layton, Utah to loving parents, John Ronald and Elizabeth Malan Olson.
Jacob is our youngest child, the beloved baby in a family of eight children. To know him was to love him! Jacob was intelligent, tender-hearted, kind, generous, quirky and extremely funny, he was so very loving... never a vicious word or deed. He loved animals, especially dogs. He loved children and he knew exactly what to say to lift another's spirit. Jacob genuinely cared about others, he would willingly take the short end of the stick rather than short change another. The world has lost some sunshine and sparkle, beauty and love when our dear Jakie left this earth and went to live in his Heavenly home. We know that he was warmly welcomed by two of his older brothers and we know that he is safe and loved where he will continue to progress and do much good, we are certain of that. We will miss him tremendously, much more than words can express, until we meet again. Jacob's favorite quote was "Give without remembering and receive without forgetting".
He is survived by his parents, John Ronald and Elizabeth Malan Olson of Layton; brothers and sisters, Malan Gregory of Honeyville; John G. of California; AnnaMaria Bond of Roy; Lillian Walker of California; Michael of Layton, many nieces and nephews and Gabriella Pantoja Olson (wife). He was preceded in death by his grandparents; older brothers Kirt Frank Olson and Matthew David Olson
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 789 East Wasatch Drive Layton, Utah.
