Ernie Derho's Obituary
Ernie Derho, age 75, passed away on October 25, 2018 in West Jordan, Utah due to pneumonia. He was born on April 27, 1943 in Inglewood, California to Arial Longrie and Cyril Derho.
Ernie lived life in the fast lane, he loved fast cars, motorcycles, he loved going fast. As he got older his passion changed to helping others, he spent years taking care of his mother with Alzheimer's. He later spent years as a facilitator in the LDS Addiction Recovery Program helping teen boys. He loved NASCAR, he loved his family and he really loved Helen.
He is survived by his Son, Rob (Christie) Derho; Daughter, Sherri Derho; Girlfriend, Helen Sponsler; Granddaughters, Brittney Derho; Sara (Malachi) Thomson; Brandi Cunerty; Grandson, Robbie (Mychall) Derho; Great-Grandchildren, Dominic; Dylan; Tayler; Sylas and Milo; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Ariel; Father, Cy; Brother, Jack and Sister, Patricia.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM at the West Jordan Senior Housing located at 2105 Sugar Factory Road West Jordan, UT 84088.
