Douglas S Sharp's Obituary
Douglas S. Sharp, age 56, passed away on February 5, 2020 in South Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born in Reno, Nevada on April 26, 1963. His parents were Donnabel Spratling Sharp and Ray George Sharp. He never married.
Our loving brother, Douglas S. Sharp, lost his battle with addiction February 5, 2020. Doug came to the Sharp family as a young boy from Nevada with his brother Kelly and loved his new family. Many happy memories were made with his new brothers and sisters at his side and now his mother and father greet him with open loving arms on the other side. Doug loved to work and had many jobs throughout his life. Red Lion, Albertson's and Harmon's grocery, were a few. Doug was a kind and gentle man who had many friends. He loved to play the piano, drive his 1976 Camero, feed his puppy Gizmo, and hang with his buddy and roommate Jonathan. Doug was a member of the LDS Church. He was also a proud member of the Washoe Tribe in Nevada and loved his heritage. Doug will be especially missed by his younger brother Nate who tried really hard to love him and keep close.
He is survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Donnabel Sharp and his brother Kelly.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wiscombe Memorial.
