Doris Webster's Obituary
Our beloved mother, Doris Webster, has let us know she received an invitation, so to speak, she could not refuse. You see, she has gone on her final cruise to a place where she has reunited with her family and friends whom she has not seen in a long time. This wonderful place will allow her to once again laugh, dance, go shopping, have her hair and nails done, grow her flowers, have as many dogs as she wants, read to her heart’s content; and eat all the M n M's she wants!
She lost her battle with Alzheimer’s disease surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 3, 2017.
This kind hearted woman was born May 30, 1934 to John Theodore and Amy Devey Matthews in Santa Maria, California. She married the love of her life, Richard Eugene Webster on December 6, 1952. They were married for 47 years. Doris was a homemaker and raised three boys. They lived in California, Oregon, Arizona and Utah.
She is survived by her three sons; Michael Webster of Washington; Steven (Deborah) Webster of Arizona; Kevin (Annette) Webster of Utah; one sister Linda (Mick) Hughes of Arizona; five granddaughters; one grandson; two great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter and nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her former husband; her brother, Verlin and her father and mother.
A Celebration of Life is planned for March 11, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the home of her son, Kevin (Annette) Webster in Lehi.
Bon voyage, mom!
