Diana Jean Starzel's Obituary
Our loving Mom, Diana Jean Starzel, passed away peacefully in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 29,2025, on her Birthday. She had just turned 76.
Diana was born in Salt Lake City on June 29, 1949 to Gene Devore Lillie and Vera W. Lillie. She is survived by her 5 children: Mia Coprich, Tina Ferguson, Ammie Moreland, Louie Starzel, Jr., and Jean Marie Munoz and their families including many grandchildren and great-Grandchildren. Diana also has two surviving brothers, Tom and Sherman Lillie.
The family welcoming Diana to heaven includes her parents, siblings Ron and Carren Lillie, grandson Victor Pacheco Jr, and countless cats that she befriended throughout her life. in addition to her love of cats, Diana enjoyed sewing and embroidery, watching T.V. and going to movies and long rides in the car with no destination in mind.
In Diana's latter years, her health declined and she moved to Meadow Brook Rehab and Nursing Facility where they cared for her until her passing. Our family extends heartfelt thanks to them, and also to Bristol Hospice for their loving and compassionate care of her, allowing her a pain free and peaceful transition. We are very grateful to all who cared for her.
Diana's response when told I love you was, "I love you more!" we hold that love in our hearts and we will miss her dearly.
