David VanDrunen Getts' Obituary
David VanDrunen Getts, age 65, passed away on May 18, 2020 in Murray, Utah. He was born September 13, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jeanne VanDrunen and David Fenton Getts.
He was a graduate of East High School in 1972. At the age of 20 he earned a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Utah. Later he earned a Teacher's Certificate. In life he enjoyed movies, history, classical music and fantasy epics.
He is survived by his daughter Rachel Getts; son Michael Getts; sister Barbara Jennings; nephew Patrick Jennings.
He was preceded in death by his mother Jeanne VanDrunen Getts; father David Fenton Getts; brother Douglas Getts.
Internment will take place at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, contact the family for details.
