David Charles Bird, age 69, of West Valley City, Utah passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 surrounded by his family in his beloved home. He was born July 28, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Leo and Leone Bird. In 1972, he went on a blind date and a year later married the love of his life, Diane. Our hearts are full of love and gratitude for all of the wonderful memories we have camping, fishing, spending time together painting and learning from him.
He will always hold a special place in our lives for the way he shaped our futures, and guided us all through thick and thin.
David leaves behind a legacy of loving family, he was a loving father, husband, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his wife Diane, daughters Dora, Dorothy (Nathan), and his pride and joy, Granddaughter Ellie.
