Darcy Dawn Baker's Obituary
Darcy Dawn Jolley Baker passed into eternity on July 6, 2022.
Darcy was born to Carma Wardle and Clinton Jolley on July 20, 1950. She was one of five children.
Her personality was as fiery as her red hair. She was very passionate about the people, values and principles most important in her life. She could relentlessly defend her position. She was also very imaginative and could make anything beautiful.
She passed on all of these traits to her most prized creations, her children, Tracy Dawn, Walter David, and Brooke Lynn. She loved, sacrificed, supported, defended and fought for those kids with her every breath. Her undying love for them burned as hot as the sun.
Her capacity to love grew to super nova status with the additions of her grandchildren, Shantelle, Skyler, Shuree, Rachel, Leia, Elizabeth, Andrew, Hudson and Genevieve; and her great-grandchildren, Sydney, Sophia, Preston, Ryle, Daxtin and Rowan.
Darcy also welcomed with open arms the spouses of her children and grandchildren her favorite son in law, Chad and her incredible daughters in law, Danielle and Makoto; along with her awesome grandchildren in laws, Grant, Ashley and Ryan.
With her warrior heart, Darcy battled ovarian, throat, skin and tongue cancer. She finally laid her head to her eternal rest. Her legacy of love, courage and strength live on in the hearts and minds of her family.
Darcy was preceded in death by her father, Clinton Jolley, her step-father, Owen Wardle, her husband, Daniel Baker and her beloved four-legged companion, Shay.
She is survived by her mother, four siblings, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
