Cory Allan Anderson's Obituary
On April 15, 2024, Cory Allan Anderson, beloved father, son, brother, and friend, left this world on his own terms at the age of 54 in the comfort of his tiny-home in beautiful Oakley, Utah.
Cory is the father, mentor, and "Bro" to Max Anderson.
Born on June 6, 1969, in Madison, Wisconsin, to Marianne King and Hayward Anderson. Brother to Elizabeth, Chad, and Chris. Former husband to Kathleen Leopardi and step-child to Barbara Kane Anderson. Friend to all.
Cory was a passionate outdoorsman and caregiver to creatures, both big and small. A Pilot. Fisherman. Climber. Skier. Skater. Electrician. Prankster. Grower. Thinker. Tinker. Artist. Builder. Adventurer. A true maverick.
Cory's departure leaves behind a profound void, filled only with the intimate memories and grand achievements he shared with us all. His humility was as awe-inspiring as his life's journey.
A memorial service to celebrate Cory's life will be held at Silver Lake Lodge Deer Valley Resort, 7600 Royal Street, Park City UT 84060, on Saturday, May 25, from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Instead of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choosing that assists environmental conservation, childhood nature programs, animal welfare, or mental health.
Please join us in honoring Cory's life, whose death gives us pause to reflect upon our own.
