Clyde Moore Jr.'s Obituary
Clyde Moore Jr, born August 11th 1963, a life long resident of Utah passed away while being loved and comforted by his friends and family. We know he was greeted by his parents Clyde Moore Sr and “Grams” Libertia “Bert” Moore with open arms and big smiles. Growing up in Sandy he attended Alta High School where he was an incredible athlete on the field and enjoyed playing Baseball and Football. He enjoyed the outdoors where he spent a lot of time camping in the Uintah’s and other beautiful areas around his home state. He always had a guitar laying around and he enjoyed playing it for others. Clyde also enjoyed the thrill of playing the slot machines in Wendover where everyone knew who he was, this is something that he thoroughly enjoyed doing with his parents and his girlfriend. Clyde was a selfless individual who always thought about others and constantly strived to be better. Unfortunately, he fought a difficult battle with addiction throughout his life which didn’t make things easy for him. Nonetheless he was a fighter and always had a positive attitude and because of that his outlook on life was optimistic even in the most difficult of times. These traits made him a great Brother, Uncle and friend to everyone he met. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Moore Sr. and Libertia “Bert” Moore. He is survived by his girlfriend of 25 years, Gina Rea and her family and his 2 older sisters, Pamela Anderson (David) and their family, and Jacque Bruening and her family.
We love you and miss you Clyde! Please tell Grams and Grandpa hello and comfort them for us until we all meet again.
A celebration of Clyde’s life will be held at a later date that will be announced. This is something that Clyde wanted. It will be done “Clydeman’s style” where all friends and family are welcome.
