Cheryl Myra McAllister Brown's Obituary
Cheryl Myra Brown (McAllister), age 75, passed away on June 22, 2020 in South Jordan, Utah. She was born on May 27, 1945 in Trinidad, Colorado to Jean C. Jolly and William Albert McAllister.
We have lost the most loving, kind, mom, Nana and friend a family could ask for. Cheryl loved everyone in her life. She was kind to everyone she met, especially children. She treasured her relationships with her daughters, grandsons and family. Cheryl especially loved her grandsons so much! She was always taking them on adventures. You could always find her out in the yard gardening till the sun went down- she had the biggest green thumb. Cheryl loved to travel and experience the beauty of many places – we always had to stop to take pictures or laugh when she tried to take them through the windshield while the car was moving. She loved to pitch a tent and camp with family and friends. Cheryl started her banking career with CitiBank in the 1970’s and retired in 2008 in California. In 2011, she moved back to Utah to be with her mother Jean Jolly, who passed away in 2017 at 93. Our memory of her beautiful soul will never fade from our hearts and thoughts. We will miss her so very much.
She is survived by her daughters Carri Sue Crosland and Tiffany Dawn Weiss; her grandsons Trevour D Weiss and Cameron J Crosland.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jean C Jolly and William Albert McAllister, her brother Craig Jolly and her son-in-law Todd Donald Weiss.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are not having a celebration of life.
