Carol Abel Meyers' Obituary
Carol Abel Meyers, age 83, passed away in Draper, Utah on May 4, 2020. She was born on April 10, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Jean Abel Markowitz and David Markowitz. She married James Duke Denos.
I have lost today the most loving, kind, gracious wife that anyone could ever hope for. My wife, Carol, liked and loved everyone in her life. She was kind beyond words. She never had a bad word for anyone she met. I was the lucky recipient of her love and goodness. She loved to make friends with all the people she met in her life. She loved to teach bridge, as did her mother Jean. She also taught line dancing, and all that knew Carol loved her. Before she was ill she taught at the Heritage Senior Center in Murray, Utah. She loved helping other people by giving of her time freely. To me she was precious beyond words. It is impossible to explain how I will miss this beautiful light in my life. My memory of her beautiful soul will never fade from my thoughts.
She is survived by her husband James Denos, her brother Skip Markowitz, sister-in-law Bobbi Markowitz, her daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Chris Cantiello, her grandchildren Michelle and Anthony Cantiello, her stepdaughter Becky Lozano, and stepsons Shannon, Jason and Randy Denos, all of whom adored and loved Carol.
She was preceded in death by her mother Jean and father David Markowitz, daughter Judith Markowitz and stepson Guy Denos.
