Barry Louis Stivason's Obituary
Our dear Barry returned home to our loving Heavenly Father on Monday, March 2 2020 after a noble and courageous fight with respiratory issues and infection. He was born On September 23, 1951 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania to Violet Maria Shaner and Fredderick Dean Stivason.
Barry had a great sense of humor and had the ability to make all those around him laugh and smile constantly. Barry was a Vietnam veteran with the U.S. Army and served his country valiantly. Something he would carry proudly on his sleeve until the day he passed. He was a talented truck driver of over 30 years with an excellent reputation. If in doubt, have Barry do it. He can get anything where you need it. Barry also had experience in car sales and construction. Both trades he excelled in and was a favorite by all those around him. Barry has two daughters that he adored with everything in him. They are the two of the very best things in his life. He was also very close to his mother, Violet. They were two peas in a pod and he wished he could see her more often. When he moved to Utah from Pennsylvania he missed them everyday. Barry married his love Sandy in 2012 and she would serve as a constant companion and caretaker until his final breath. Barry is already missed greatly. Until we meet again.
Survived by his wife Sandy, mother Violet, daughters Rhonda and Michele (Lewis), step-children William (Melyn), Amanda (Ricardo), Victoria and Alex. Granddaughters Abygail, Danielle, Taylor, Hailie and Navy, grandsons Caleb, Beau, Brody, Knox, Knash, Rhogan and Rookie, dog Chicco, multiple extended family members, numerous veteran friends and countless new friends and neighbors along the way. Preceded in death by his Father Freddrick Dean Stivason, Grandparents and his best dog Louie
