Armando Michael Olivo's Obituary
Armando Michael Olivo, affectionately known as Michi, departed from this world on February 20th, 2024, at the age of 40. Born on December 13th, 1983, in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, he brought joy and warmth to everyone he encountered.
Michi is survived by his two beloved children, Aidan Michael Olivo (14) and Aubrieanna Marie Olivo (11). He was the cherished son of Guillermina Pedroza Garduño and the late Ignacio Olivo Martinez, who passed away on November 21st, 2019. Michi was a loving brother to Fabián Olivo Robledo (56), Fabiola Olivo Robledo (54), Adrián Olivo Robledo (52), Adriana Olivo Robledo (49), Bertha Jazmin Olivo Pedroza (38), and Julio Alejandro Mendoza Pedroza (28).
A proud graduate of Granger High School, Michi earned his high school diploma in 2002. He was a man of passion and love, facing health challenges with courage. Diagnosed with heart failure in 2021 after contracting COVID-19 during the pandemic, he fought valiantly until peacefully departing from this world at his West Valley home, discovered by his beloved girlfriend, Gemali Roman.
Michi's essence will forever be remembered as that of an exquisite man who paid meticulous attention to details, whether engaging in heartfelt conversations, preparing a sumptuous meal, or selecting the perfect outfit and cologne. His love for family and friends was unwavering, and he was always there to lend a helping hand.
A connoisseur of life's pleasures, Michi found joy in cooking and spending quality time with his loved ones. Whether crafting a delicious meal or sharing laughter around the table, he found solace in these moments. His love for Utah's beautiful outdoors, from the majestic mountains to the serene hot springs, reflected his appreciation for nature's wonders.
Michi's genuine and authentic nature shone through his love for a comfortable cold sleep, a sharp haircut, and a well-groomed beard. As we bid farewell, let us remember him for the laughter, warmth, and unique spirit he brought into our lives.
To honor his wishes, a viewing and cremation will take place at the Wiscombe Memorial Funeral Home, 47 Orange St B-5, Salt Lake City, Utah 84116, between 5 pm-7 pm. The dress code is bright colors, celebrating the vibrant life he led, and guests are encouraged to dress nicely without an emphasis on black attire.
