Andreya Elaine Card's Obituary
Andreya Card was arguably the most contagious, adventurous and beautiful soul we had the opportunity to be a part of. Very sadly, we lay her to rest on the 28th day of May in 2021. She was approaching her 32nd birthday in June.
Dreya came with a degree of spice and an independent demeanor that continued throughout her life. Her adventurous personality also offered a great deal of clumsiness that would often lead to injury. Knowing this, it was always a GREAT time with Dreya. Easily put, “the life of the party” was an understatement. Our beloved Dreya had a way of taking care of people like a mother would. No children of her own, yet many came to her for help, advice, and comfort. Dreya could have in-depth dialog for hours on end. Her ability to remain independent and strong was admired by not only the women around her, the men as well. Oftentimes she would lookout for others and their needs to the detriment of herself. A dear friend, daughter, sister, and aunty. Dreya made time for many people outside of her immediate family and would always bring a great deal of joy, gifts, or food. It was very easy to feel a deep connection and bond with this authentic loving soul. She was a determined thinker with a silver tongue and of course beyond gorgeous to say the very least. As hard as it is to come to this reality, we can now let her find her true peace with our higher power. We will miss seeing the red Benz pull up with your perfect smile and freckles gleaming, even on the cloudy days. Fly high, fly fast beloved.
Andreya's viewing will be Thursday June 10th from 6-8 pm at Wiscombe Memorial 47 S Orange St Suite B-5 Salt Lake City, UT 84116. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Wiscombe Memorial.
Andreya's Birthday Vigil will be held at Mt. Olympus Pavilion at Sugar House Park 1330 E 2100 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84106 on June 18th from 6-10 pm. We are asking all those who cared about her to please bring to her viewing and/or vigil a handwritten story to share with her family. We would like to compose a scrapbook in her memory.
