Andrew Jared Putman's Obituary
Andrew Jared Putman, 32, passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2025, in Provo, Utah, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, adventure, and love. Born on October 7, 1992, in Payson, Utah, to Charlotte and Larry Putman, Jared spent most of his life in the beautiful city of Provo. He attended Westridge Elementary, Centennial Middle School, Provo High School, and MTEC, where he fostered his love for learning and hands-on work.
Jared had an unshakable passion for all things mechanical from an early age. His fascination with cars, motorcycles, and ATVs was matched only by his love for the outdoors. Whether he was camping, swimming, fishing, or simply taking in the beauty of nature, Jared always sought solace and adventure in the great outdoors. Friends and family often remember him with toy cars in his pockets, a small reminder of his lifelong passion.
However, it was his daughter, Layla, who became his greatest source of joy and transformation. Layla’s presence in his life brought him boundless happiness, and she became the light of his world. The bond they shared was one of deep love, and it will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew Jared.
Jared is survived by his beloved daughter, Layla; his parents, Charlotte Hart and Larry Putman; his siblings, Jennifer Bates (Josh), Jessica Stanley, Jason Putman (Camille), and Reagan Putman; and six nieces and nephews who adored him. He also leaves behind his cherished grandmother, Nancy Jackson, and numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family who will miss him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul M. Jackson, and his grandparents, Barbara and Howard Putman.
In honor of Jared’s life, a private graveside service will be held at the Provo Cemetery. A Celebration of Life where family and friends will gather to remember Jared’s spirit, his love for life, and the incredible impact he had on those around him will be held March 1st, 2025. Please contact a member of his family for details if you would like to attend.
Though he may no longer walk among us, Jared’s memory will continue to inspire us to embrace life’s adventures, cherish our loved ones, and find joy in the simple moments that make life so special.
