Alfred Livshits' Obituary
Alfred Livshits, age 88, passed away on May 6, 2020 at home in Salt Lake City, Utah due to cardiovascular disease and hypertension. He was born on October 9, 1931 in Goinel, Belarus to Bella Borisovna Lokshranova and Mark Livshits. He was married to Faina Veniaminovna Raik on February 9, 1980 in Leningrad, Russia. Alfred is the child of WW2. After the war he lived, studied and worked in Leningrad. He was talented in various fields of science and technology. Wrote poetry and was a jack of all trades. He was well versed in medicine and pharmacology. He was a caring and devoted father who was kind to people and helped them in everything; he loved nature, fishing and computers.
Survived by his 2 daughters living in St. Petersburg, and his loving wife living in Salt Lake City, Utah.
