Aleta Renee Meadows' Obituary
Aleta Renee Meadows, age 74, passed away June 14, 2018 at Fairview Care Center in Salt Lake City due to natural causes and incident to age. She was born on April 14, 1944 in Coalville, Utah to Audra Gladys Zoller and John Fred Meadows.
Aleta was an independent, feisty soul, with a quick sense of humor. She loved crafts of all kinds. She didn't read but she could look at something she wanted to make and then just did it, she never needed instructions or wanted any help. She loved long walks in the spring and summer but not in the winter because she didn't like to be cold. Her favorite foods included a Big Mac, a Whopper Hamburger and Hershey candy bars. On numerous occasions she opened her home to multiple street kids that had nowhere else to go and most still keep in contact with the family. As dementia took over her later years she forgot a lot of things but she never forgot the family she loved and that loved her very much.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Luetta Combs, her siblings, Gene (Debbie); John Arman (Loa Dean), Audra Areda Steet; JoLayne (Joseph) Vrazel; Jay Fredrick (LouAnn) Meadows. From one daughter her progeny grew to include many including those from her many street kids and their children which she claimed as her own. We especially mention Billy, the grandson that she was most close too; 5 other Grandchildren and several other Great- Grandchildren.
