Christina and I only met Katie and Scott when they started the kidney failure process but in that short time they became family. We had only known each other from online support group, my wife was in kidney failure and on dialysis the bond Christina had with Katie can not be explained. Also the bond that I had with Scott I looked up to him so much for being so eager to learn and give his wife the best care possible at home. We watched them not let this terrible disease stop from living best life possible. I watched them go on vacation, incorporate children into care and continue life to the fullest. We also had the honor of meeting both of them for dinner which was like meeting best friends that we have know forever. Scott and Kate you inspired so many others during this process and my life is better knowing you both. Kate you will be missed so much!
