Raul Cuitlahuac de la Vega Y Garcia
September 10, 1934 - December 18, 2021
Raul Cuitlahuac de la Vega Y Garcia. 1934 - 2021 Honest, upright, elegant and wise man. Been full of knowledge and always formal. He was born in Guerrero, Mexico on September 10 of 1934, son of Hubearth de la Vega and Concepcion Garcia. He married with Julita Guillermina Sarmiento Melo, who later had 3 children; Minerva, Rodrigo y César Gerardo de la Vega Sarmiento. He lost his father at age of 7, forcing him to work to support his mother with five children, including him, turning him into a hard worker man that he always was. He entered the military at an early age where he quickly stood out; getting to obtain the rank of: The #1 Captain of infantry. He retired from his military career having graduated with higher studies from “Escuela Normal Superior”, as a teacher of Biology, Physics and Chemistry at the intermediate and higher level. His greatest joy was to sow the seed of improvement and the love for study. His favorite hobby was reading; and as a good biologist he loves animals; having a special inclination for Eagles. He loved to be with his family and teach us to know and love our homeland (Mexico) and its history and traditions. His legacy is countless as the stars. Leaving behind a great emptiness difficult to fill. But today it flies high and free, getting back to home with our Heavenly Father, together with my mother. We love you so much daddy, you will always live in our hearts. Thank you very much, God bless you always.
