Karl David Bryner
May 4, 1956 - November 23, 2021
Karl David Bryner, age 65, husband of Linda Sachs Bryner, passed away Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021. Born on May 4th, 1956, in Idaho Falls, was the son of Barbara and Dean Bryner. He went to Olympus high school and served a LDS mission in Ohio. In Karl’s younger years, he worked at Utah Power and Light, but he spent most of his life as a safety professional and educator in the construction industry. He was an instructor for OSHA and hazardous material awareness. He worked in some form of construction the majority his life. You can see his projects all over the state, as well as in other states. He built a barn at This is the Place Monument. He worked on bridges, roads, pools, and created countless decorative concrete projects. He was an artist at heart. He created so many things with his strong, but gentle hands. He was a woodworker, sculptor, painter, and all around handyman. You name it, he had done it. He passed a lot of that knowledge onto his children. Karl was a mountain man. He loved camping and exploring, but most of all he loved taking care of people. He showed that by always making sure everyone was fed. He loved cooking and could make the most amazing meals out of nothing. He did not pass this skill onto ALL his children. Karl leaves behind to cherish his loving memory, his wife Linda Sachs Bryner and his four children: Brandon, Zack (Chantell), Chelsie, and Lexie. Karl lived for his children and did absolutely anything for them, but he especially lived for his grandchildren: Brody, Jax, Brielle, and Sloan. He would never miss an opportunity to spend time with them. Karl is also survived by siblings: MaryAnne Bryner, Roger Bryner, and Dolly Orgill. Karl is preceded in death by his parents, Barbara Livingston and Dean L. Bryner, and siblings: Steven Bryner, Carol Bryner, Dixie Gibbs, and Susan Bryner. Karl had the biggest warmest heart. He would drop anything and help anyone in need. He was a hero to his children and to many others. He helped a lot of people in his life. He will be dearly missed, but will live on in his children and grandchildren, and in all the lessons he taught them. Goodbye dad! We love you to the moon and back! A memorial services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 2675 E. 4430 S. in Holladay, on January 29th at 1:00 PM. Thank you for all your love and support.
