Julia Marie Jensen
November 23, 1960 - January 10, 2020
Julia Marie Jensen passed away peacefully in her home in Cottonwood Heights, UT early in the morning on January 10, 2020. Being born and raised in sunny California, Utah became her home in 2018, offering her beautiful scenery and kind friends while she fought the fight of her life. Julia cheerfully danced her way through life for 59 years, 33 of which were alongside her husband Rocky Jensen. Julia is now a guardian angel to her husband, and two children, David (Julie) Jensen and Michelle (Deaven) Jorgensen. She is also undoubtedly watching over her sister Linda (Nick) Sanzo and brother Jon McMullen (Renato Salazar) as well as countless other loved ones, family and friends alike. Julia is preceded in death by her mother and father, Betty and William Hansen and sister Vicki Peters. No matter where Julia ventured in life, she always brightened the room and lightened the mood with her joyful laugh, sweet smile and sparkling eyes. Even though she will be missed here on Earth, Julia knew that after death she would be able to be here in spirit to help her loved ones through difficulties, and she would like you to have that same understanding when thinking about her and the beautiful life she lead. A special thanks goes out to all of those who have helped Julia find comfort, near and far, especially those in the Forest Bend Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and all of the medical staff at Huntsman Cancer Institute and CNS. You all were and are truly a blessing. In place of sending flowers to show your love for Julia and her family, she asked that donations be made to Huntsman Cancer Institute in her name. Please follow the link to make those donations: https://hope.huntsmancancer.org/883/diy/78349/remembrance-of-julia-jensen A celebration of life for Julia will be held in Southern California in July of 2020. More details will be posted as the date gets closer. Arrangements are under the direction of Wiscombe Memorial.
