So sorry to hear of Jays passing Patty, great memories of him from the mission field! He was always in good spirits and could make you smile.
We miss you "J.D." from way back in the 23rd ward family. You were one of us and we loved you. You were so much fun to be with & I thought you were a good friend.
Jay Peacock is someone we all can aspire to be like! He fought his battle fiercely to stay here with Patty, Kyrsten and Jayden, never allowing cancer to keep him from living life to the fullest as long as he could! He inspired us as he water skied after IV treatments- he fully enjoyed every moment as long as his beloved family was there!
Jay’s greatest example to me is his testimony. During those special testimony meetings when he shared his depth and knowledge of the gospel, I was always uplifted and inspired.
I remember coming to visit and going with him straight from the hospital to Jayden’s soccer game, he didn’t go home to rest, he had bigger priorities!
My family all looks up to Jay, he set the bar so high for all of us to emulate!
The kindest thing he ever said to me was when he closed a text recently with “Your Brother” as he knew that’s who I considered him to be.
What a blessing to know you in this life Jay, see you again someday!
One of my memories of Jay was when we were all at Ward Camp. He was in our trailer and he statrted tickling Ronni. We had a big dog named Sausha who loved all th kids in the neighborhood. She started growling at him It was pretty funny at the time as we had never heard her growl at anyone. Needless to say Jay stopped picking" on Ronni.
