Leann Bastion
I had the great pleasure of meeting Cindy about 3 years ago when Frank moved in with her. He was a calming presence for her when she needed it most and she was Frank’s savior from a life on the streets.
Over those three years she became a very good friend. My heart broke for her when she spoke about her loving son Nick and the incredible loss she felt. Despite her grief she found a way to brighten the lives of those she loved. She really enjoyed decorating for Christmas and I think I found someone who had more Santas than I had. Any holiday or birthday gave her an excuse to celebrate with her loving family and friends. I am so thankful that I got to spend a few short years with her. She touched many hearts and left us all with an indelible legacy of love and kindness. I will truly miss her.
