I just want to take a moment and express my gratitude to Shawn Wiscombe for helping me through a really rough time in my life. My partner, Jeffrey, and I had been together for fourteen years when we discovered he had cancer. Within three weeks, he was gone. Obviously, this was a devastating time for me. When I went to the funeral home with Jeff's parents, I met Shawn. He helped guide us through the painful last process of preparing Jeff for the end. He was very compassionate and understanding. He helped us make plans and helped comfort us. Shawn was very knowledgable and confident when we needed someone to help us through this process. It was a very difficult time that Shawn helped us "get through".

Trust Wiscombe Memorial during one of the most difficult times of your life; I did and I found the experience comforting, dignified and sacred. Shawn was kind, empathetic and understanding. I received the utmost care and concern, as did my loved one. The personal touches were in the details and every step was special. From the preparation, to the viewing, funeral, and burial, I felt valued & special, never rushed.

Our soon-to-be 18-year-old son was tragically killed in a motorcycle crash on his way home from high school football practice. One minute his happy, loving self was there, and the next minute he was gone. Nothing has been harder for my wife and I and our family to endure. We know of nothing that could have prepared us for such an occurrence. It was simply devastating on so many levels. Thankfully, we had our faith and many wonderful friends to help us through it. One of our best friends was the local mortician Shawn Wiscombe. Our sons had even worked for Shawn on multiple occasions. The love, comfort, understanding, and compassion that was shown to us in abundance during this time was far above anything we would ever expect from a mortuary or mortician. Shawn is one of the most compassionate, kind, and thoughtful people we have ever known. We would highly recommend him to anyone that would have the need for his services. He made all the difference in this time of terrible loss for us and ours.
